Mark from Arlington, VA took pictures of an unusual cloud formation and ended up with something extra. He reports that surface winds were calm, but there was apparently upper level turbulence because the clouds were churning. This suggests that the orbs may have been reacting to the energy of the storm front.

We took these photos in New England in light snow in light snow with a stationary camera. The purpose was to capture examples of "false orbs" - orbs that are caused by flash reflections off rain, snow, pollen etc. Suddenly a true orb appeared - wandered across the area being photographed - wandered back - and finally wandered off.

We were photographing at a home in New England where there is a high level of paranormal activity. The photos show the formation of a mist which had initially been invisible to us. (Photos 1-5) In the fifth photo we noticed something that resembled a face, so we began enhancing the photos (brightness and contrast only). The remaining photos are the enhancements of Photo 5 - not separate photos.

It's rare that we'd ever photograph in a cemetery because the consensus among paranormal investigators is that there would be no reason for ghosts or spirits to be there. Still, we were drawn to this location (for details see "Riverview Cemetery" on our "Favorite Haunts" page) and as a result, we were able to obtain some exceptional photos. We hope that you enjoy them.

These photos were taken by two different people with two different cameras at approximately the same time. The first six were taken by Jim Dodge and the next two by Bonnie Craig. The remaining photos are close-ups of portions of some of the same photos. They appear to be apparitions of a man and woman in colonial attire. (No - they couldn't see the apparitions when the photos were being taken) The full story is posted on our Articles page.
